Education

Maronite Christian Formation Classes meet from September – May on Sundays from 9:15-10:15 am in the classrooms. There are classes for children ages 3 years – High School. Maronite Christian Formation Coordinators are Beverly Kimes and Dora Bolus. Vacation Bible School is held each summer in 2 parts. The first part is on the Wednesdays of June during Family Nights. The 2nd part is a week long program that meets from 9am – 12 noon from Monday-Friday. The program includes religious education, arts and crafts, music and recreation. Children ages 4 – 5th grade attend the classes. Children in grades 6,7, and 8 and high school students serve as teachers and helpers along with adult volunteers. Adult Classes include Information about the Catholic Faith which is taught by Chorbishop Richard throughout the year. Interested adults should contact the church office for information about times and dates for these classes. Sacramental Preparation is offered on an ongoing basis for those preparing to be married or to have a child baptized.  Contact Chorbishop Richard to make appointments for these classes. Children in the second grade receive instructions for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Eucharist in the Maronite Christian Formation classes. Adult Education is offered throughout the year, especially during Lent and Advent.  Check the calendar and the weekly bulletin for current information.
